Accreditation

The School of Planning, Design and Construction is pleased to offer five accredited degrees, one in each undergraduate major and the graduate degree in urban and regional planning. Accreditation is a certification process where professional bodies external to the university review degree majors for relevance and rigor. The process recognizes quality through a review of courses and syllabi, site visits, and interviews with faculty, students, alums, and employers. Regular accreditation reviews provide external feedback to majors, and links the work of the university with practice and professions. Accreditation signals to students and their professions that the education they receive is relevant and appropriate for their chosen careers.
